Be careful! Smart Fortress is not really an anti-virus program! I got infected with it yesterday, I don't actually know how, but I guess I must have clicked somewhere. When I turned on my computer in the evening, Smart Fortress appeared on my screen. I didn't launch it – it did that automatically, right after Windows loaded. When the scan was over, I saw it had found many viruses, and I was a little worried, but I was not sure if I could trust that program, because I didn't know how it had actually entered my computer. I checked online to see if it is a good anti-virus program, in case I decided to buy it, and I came across some articles, which said that
Smart Fortress is in fact a virus. The truth is, I didn't suspect it was
malware, because it looked like a real anti-virus program.
